2:00 - We will begin taking any orders that include steamed or live blue crabs for pickups later in the day. We will take orders from anyone lined up in person before we begin answering the phones. If you're ordering medium or medium/large, there's usually no reason to line up in person or call frantically right when we open. If you don't get through right away on the phone, it doesn't necessarily mean we're sold out of crabs, just try us back in a few minutes. Thanks to the return of the high heat forecasted through the week, Tuesday will most likely be the day with the best availability for crabs. (When it's really hot crabs will hide in the colder, deeper water and we see a decline in the catch. We also see a higher percentage of dead loss meaning we have fewer crabs overall to sell).
2:30 - We will begin taking any orders that do not include steamed or live blue crabs. The market will also open at this time.
