Market Position Description
Market team members interact directly with customers by taking orders, answering phones, and distributing completed orders. Responsibilities include using a basic cash register, handling raw seafood while wearing gloves, stocking and maintaining the market area, and assisting with dishes and daily clean-up alongside other employees and management. This role requires clear and open communication with customers, fellow employees, and management, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Steamer Position Description
Steamer team members are responsible for handling and preparing steamed shellfish while working within a structured, timed order schedule. Duties include lifting heavy items, maintaining organization in a fast-paced environment, and assisting with dishes and daily clean-up alongside other employees and management. This position requires clear and open communication with fellow employees and management, attention to timing, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Training & Experience
These are an entry-level, team-oriented positions. We provide hands-on training and are happy to teach motivated applicants who are new to the workforce. Individuals who are open to learning our systems and following established procedures tend to be the best fit for our team. Prior experience is welcome but not required.
This role is well suited for students seeking summer employment, as our busiest season aligns with summer break. We welcome all applicants who are available consistently throughout the summer and able to commit to scheduled shifts during peak season, including weekends and holidays.

This is a fast-paced, physically active job in a busy seafood market. All team members are expected to assist with dishes, cleaning, lifting, and general duties as needed. The work environment can be very hot during peak season and requires standing for extended periods. We are looking for applicants who are dependable, willing to perform all tasks, and committed to working scheduled shifts throughout the season. This position is not suited for those seeking casual or occasional work.
